Who is responsible

Desk Tests is the data controller for the information described here. Questions or requests: hello@desktests.com.

What we collect

Email address

Given at checkout. Used to send your download link and to answer support.

Order details

Which scenarios you bought, the transaction id, and the date.

Payment details

Taken and held by Stripe. We never see your card number, and it never touches this site.

A single cookie

Set only on your download page, to remember that you confirmed your email so you are not asked every visit. Nothing else is stored in your browser.

There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking on this site. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.

Who processes it

Stripe

Payments and tax, as merchant of record. Holds your billing details.

Resend

Sends the download email. Holds your address and the message.

Vercel

Hosts the site and stores the workbooks and order records.

Google Workspace

Our own mailbox, so support email you send us lives there.

Why we are allowed to

To perform the contract you entered when you bought — we cannot deliver a file without somewhere to send it. Support correspondence is handled on the same basis. We do not rely on consent for marketing, because we do not send marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept while the purchase is still useful to you, so that your download link keeps working and we can help if you lose it. Ask us to delete yours and we will, subject to any records Stripe must keep for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. Email hello@desktests.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and unhappy with the answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.
