What this level covers
The formulas everything else is built on. Absolute and relative references, SUM and its family, percentages and growth, rounding, and the difference between a number Excel can work with and one it cannot. Fifty-four scored cells across practice and a mixed checkpoint.

You build the model blind, then read your score on the Score tab: an overall percentage out of 54 scored cells, broken down by section so you can see which part of the model let you down. Values are compared, not formulas, so any construction that lands on the right number scores and a blank cell scores zero. The Score tab works in any version of Excel.
